Statement
I am an artist who works in many forms of media such as painting, mixed media, charcoal, and photography. Mark-making, textures, vintage ephemera, & focused color are important elements in my artwork. In most primary works, I often incorporate found objects & recyclable materials to mixed media pieces that form an abstracted figurative language. I respond to the materials I have collected and enjoy creating atmospheric and textural scenes. I am also a visual art educator who loves to share the art making process with my students.
